Today, I brought Smile Squad 4 Kids to a 2nd-grade classroom at Indian Trail Elementary School! We started by reading Why Should I Brush My Teeth? and then had a fun discussion about oral health.
Together, we learned some surprising facts (including one that was new to me!): snails have thousands of tiny teeth on their tongues, making them the animal with the most teeth. We also practiced proper brushing techniques and answered lots of great questions about keeping our smiles healthy.
A big thank you to Ms. Lichtfuss for welcoming me back into her wonderful classroom!
